The Hideout Experience

What is Hideout Wellness?

A co-ed social bathhouse and vitality club in Da Nang — a place to slow down, recover, and reconnect. Warm water, heat, cold, and good company do the rest.

What facilities are available?

The Grand Hybrid Sauna, HydroJet Hot Bath, Purified Cold Plunge, private steam showers, and relaxation areas below ground — and above it all, the outdoor Urban Jungle Pool.

Is the cold plunge an ice bath? How cold is it?

Not an ice bath — there is no ice in the water. The Purified Cold Plunge is genuinely cold, cold enough for the full contrast effect against the sauna, but it sits deliberately above true ice-bath territory: the temperature most people can stay in long enough to get the benefit, rather than the one you leave after twenty seconds. If you are used to colder, you will still feel it.

How is Hideout Wellness laid out?

Two contrasting environments, joined as one continuous journey. Below ground, the Social Bathhouse — enclosed, immersive, and private. Above ground, the Urban Jungle Pool — fresh air, greenery, and open sky. Move freely between them at your own pace.

What is the immersive multi-sensory experience?

Light, scent, sound, temperature, and texture — tuned so you stop noticing them. Each one quietly supports the bathing ritual, so you settle in deeper without thinking about why.

What kind of music is played at Hideout?

Music, not volume. The soundtrack stays subtle enough for conversation, for reflection, and for the sound of the water itself.

Planning Your Visit

Do I need to make a reservation?

Advance reservations are recommended — they help us manage capacity and create the best experience for every guest. Walk-ins are welcome too, subject to availability.

How long can I stay?

As long as you like. There's no fixed session length — come when it suits you and stay until closing.

What should I expect on my first visit?

After check-in, our team introduces you to the space and helps you begin comfortably. There is no prescribed sequence — move between the facilities at your own pace, take breaks, stay hydrated, and listen to your body.

Is Hideout Wellness co-ed?

Yes. Hideout is a shared, co-ed bathing space, and appropriate swimwear must be worn throughout all communal bathing areas. Private steam showers are available whenever you want a door that closes.

What should I bring?

Just your swimwear, and any personal essentials you can't do without. Towels, secure lockers, toiletries, drinking water, and hair dryers are all provided.

Is there a minimum age?

Hideout is 18+, without exception.

Can I visit if I am pregnant or have a medical condition?

Heat and cold exposure may not be suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant or have a heart, blood-pressure, respiratory, neurological, or other medical condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before visiting, and let our team know of any relevant health concerns beforehand.

What happens if I arrive late or cannot attend?

Reservations help us anticipate guest flow rather than assigning a fixed-length session, so you may still arrive if you're running late, and there's no penalty if you can't attend. Where possible, let us know so we can welcome other guests.

Etiquette, Cleanliness & House Rules

What are Hideout's cleanliness and hygiene practices?

Everyone showers first — a house rule, not a suggestion, and the single reason the water stays the way it does. Beneath every pool, continuous skimmer and sand filtration run all day, with UV sanitation as the quiet final layer.

What is the glowing circular shower in the center of the space?

The Signature Rain Shower — the glowing centrepiece of the space, and the reason the water stays pristine. Every bathhouse asks you to rinse before entering; we designed that step to be the most refreshing part of the visit, not an obligation. Use it before and between your sessions.

What is the quiet-conversation policy?

Quiet conversation is welcome here — wellness, without the whispering. Speak softly, keep it considerate, and the calm looks after itself.

Are phones and photography allowed?

Phones, photography, and video are strictly prohibited inside the Social Bathhouse to protect every guest's privacy. Phones may be used discreetly at the Urban Jungle Pool on silent — never photograph or record another guest without their clear permission.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Not inside the bathhouse, pool, or lounge areas. There is a designated area at the front of the building for guests who wish to smoke.
